Dual Moving Coil Cartridge

The Audio-Technica AT33XEN is a dual moving coil stereo cartridge built for vinyl playback. It uses an elliptical nude stylus mounted on a Duralumin cantilever to trace record grooves with precision. The gold and maroon body houses the coil assembly, delivering a detailed analogue signal for high-fidelity systems. This component is designed for turntables equipped to support moving coil cartridges.

Analogue vinyl enthusiasts

Listeners who want the resolution and tracking ability of a moving coil design will suit this cartridge. It requires a phono stage or preamplifier with dedicated moving coil input or a suitable step-up transformer. Buyers whose equipment only accepts moving magnet cartridges or lacks the necessary gain should look at alternatives compatible with their existing hardware.
