Dual-Action Record Cleaner

The Audio-Technica AT6013A is a manual cleaning tool for vinyl enthusiasts who want to protect their record collection and stylus. It combines two carbon-fibre brushes with a central velvet pad to remove dust and debris in one pass across the groove surface.

Capacity and Headroom

The dual brushes and velvet pad work together to lift loose dust and particles from the record groove during a single rotation. The anti-static carbon fibres stay straight to reach deep into the groove, though the tool cannot remove bonded grime or oily residue that requires wet cleaning fluid.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

This cleaner operates without electricity so it produces no heat, noise or power draw during use. The included metal guard bracket shields the brushes and pad from damage and dust when the tool is stored between cleaning sessions.

Questions about this item

Will the carbon-fiber brushes on this AT6013A model damage my vintage turntable platter or mat?

The carbon-fiber brushes and central velvet pad are designed for gentle record contact only and do not touch the platter or mat during use.

How can I verify the anti-static fibres are still effective after several cleaning sessions?

The fibres remain straight by design; if they stay straight and dust lifts in a single pass, the cleaner is working as intended.

Does the box include any cleaning fluid or is the metal guard bracket the only accessory?

The box contains the AT6013A dual-action brush with its metal guard bracket; no cleaning fluid is included.
