AT8120 Windscreen for AT822 Microphone

The Audio-Technica AT8120 is a large ball-shaped foam windscreen built for the AT822 stereo microphone. It reduces wind noise and plosives during recording while protecting the capsule from dust and moisture. The slip-on design allows fast attachment for field or studio work.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Verify that your microphone matches the AT822 form factor or shares a similar grille diameter so the foam seats securely. Confirm the windscreen does not contact the shock mount or interfere with any accessories already mounted. No tools or adapters are required for installation.

Suited for Outdoor and Vocal Recording

Ideal for field recordists, broadcasters and podcasters who need reliable wind protection for an AT822 or similarly shaped stereo microphone. Less suitable for users of pencil, lavalier or large-diaphragm microphones with different profiles. Buyers needing furry windjammers for extreme wind should look at other solutions.
