Pro 70 Lavalier Microphone Pack of 3

This pack provides three Audio-Technica Pro 70 cardioid lavalier microphones suited for vocalists, presenters and acoustic instrument recording. Each unit features a tailored mid-range frequency response that enhances clarity while suppressing excessive highs and lows. The cardioid polar pattern isolates the sound source and improves gain-before-feedback in live or studio settings. A low frequency roll-off switch reduces rumble from wind and handling noise.

XLR Output and Battery Power Constraints

Every microphone connects via a standard 3-pin XLR output requiring a compatible mixer, preamp or camera input. The included UM3 power supply runs on a single AA battery or external phantom power, so the device is not self-powered without a battery installed. Cable length is fixed at 10 feet, limiting placement distance from the recording device. No wireless transmission or digital interface is provided.

Check Input Compatibility and Power Needs

Verify that your mixer, audio interface or camera accepts 3-pin XLR connections and can supply phantom power if you prefer not to use batteries. Ensure you have three available input channels for simultaneous use of all microphones. Confirm the 10-foot cable reach suits your stage or studio layout before ordering.

Questions about this item

Which version of the Pro 70 pack should I choose for a three-person panel?

The bundle supplies three identical Pro 70 lavalier microphones, three 10 ft XLR cables, three four-AA battery packs with a charger, a cleaning cloth and microphone cleaner — everything needed for three presenters in one box.

How does the cardioid pattern and mid-range focus work together on stage?

The cardioid pickup rejects sound from the sides and rear while the tailored response lifts vocal mid-range, so each speaker stays clear and present without picking up neighbouring voices or floor rumble.

What does the XLR connection and AA-powered supply mean for my mixer or camera?

Each mic terminates in a standard 3-pin XLR plug and draws phantom power from a single AA cell in the included UM3 supply, so you can plug straight into any mixer, preamp or camera with XLR inputs without needing external phantom power.
