The AUDIOVOX 55312 is a mini video system with a built-in two-disc changer. It suits buyers who want a small-footprint shelf unit for watching DVDs or CDs in a bedroom, kitchen or office. It does not serve users who need multi-room distribution or streaming apps.

6.8 by 6.3 by 10.4 inch footprint

The unit measures 6.8 in wide, 6.3 in deep and 10.4 in high, weighing 0.231 kilograms. Speakers share the same 6.8 by 6.3 by 10.4 inch dimensions at 0.5 pounds each. The compact size fits tight shelves but leaves no room for extra components or larger speaker drivers.

Questions about this item

Will the 55312 mini video system's 6.8 in x 6.3 in x 10.4 in speakers fit on my existing shelf alongside older audio components?

Each speaker measures 6.8 in wide, 6.3 in deep and 10.4 in high, so compare those dimensions with your shelf clearance before placing the unit.

How can I confirm the 2-disc changer is reading discs correctly after I connect the system?

Insert a disc; the changer should load it and begin playback without error messages, and audio should come from both speakers at the expected volume.

Does the 55312 package include the power supply and cables, or must I purchase them separately?

The specifications list power supply as false, so the system does not ship with a power adapter or cables; you will need to source a compatible supply separately.
