1D/2D Handheld Imager

The Audiovox DS2208-SR00007ZZWW is a barcode scanner built for retail counters, warehouse aisles and light-industrial desks. It reads both linear and two-dimensional codes from paper labels and phone screens. Workers who need a single device for inventory, point-of-sale and ticketing will find it fits the workflow.

USB Cable Included

The unit ships with a USB cable so it replaces older keyboard-wedge or serial scanners without an adapter hunt. The jump is worth it when the host PC only offers USB ports and the software expects a virtual COM or HID device. No separate power supply is required for typical operation.

Plug-and-Play Setup

Windows, macOS and Linux enumerate the scanner as a standard HID keyboard or virtual COM port, so most installs finish in seconds. The usual snag is the host defaulting to keyboard mode when the application expects serial emulation; switching the mode with the supplied configuration barcodes solves it. Cable strain at the scanner body is the only common wear point.
