Head-Mounted 3D Night Vision Goggles

The NV8000 is a binocular head-mounted device that delivers naked-eye 3D viewing through dual 1.4390*390 TFT screens. It uses a 3MP starlight sensor with F1.4 aperture and 25mm lens to provide 7x optical magnification plus 4x digital zoom. Built-in 850nm 3W IR with seven brightness levels enables observation up to 300 metres in total darkness.

IP54 Rating and Battery Operation

Rated IP54 for water resistance, the goggles operate from -20 to +50 Celsius and store from -30 to +60 Celsius. A 3.7V 3000mAh lithium battery powers the unit, with auto-off selectable at 1, 3, 5 minutes or disabled. The package includes a protective case, head strap, mount, USB cable, cleaning cloth and manual.

Sustained All-Night Observation

Four colour modes — colour, black-and-white, moonlight green and film negative — adapt to changing ambient light. Independent dioptre adjustment of +/-3 on each eyepiece compensates for nearsightedness or farsightedness during extended wear. Dual-screen design allows switching between single and binocular view to reduce eye fatigue on long watches. The 440g weight and head-mounted format keep hands free for continuous surveillance.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the NV8000 goggles to the head strap, and what adjustment do people skip?

Slide the mount onto the bracket until it clicks, then use the independent left and right eyepiece diopters (±3 range) to match each eye before tightening the strap; skipping the diopter step leaves one eye blurry.

What part will need replacement first, and how do I know when?

The built-in 3000 mAh lithium battery is not user-replaceable; when run-time drops noticeably below the rated operating span, the whole unit requires service.

What limits continuous use in total darkness at the 250–300 m range?

The 3 W 850 nm IR LED on its highest of seven brightness levels drains the 3000 mAh battery fastest, so sustained maximum-range viewing ends when the battery depletes.
