Audiovox - Generic Vuquest 3320G 2D Area-Imaging Barcode Scanner

Vuquest 3320G 2D area-imaging scanner

The Vuquest 3320G is a 2D area-imaging barcode scanner supplied with a cable for direct connection. It reads one-dimensional and two-dimensional symbols from paper labels or electronic screens. The device is intended for retail counters, inventory stations and light industrial checkpoints where omnidirectional scanning speeds up throughput.

Sustained scanning on a fixed cable

Because the unit draws power and communicates over the attached cable, it maintains continuous operation without battery management or wireless interference. The imager captures frames at a steady rate during long shifts, so repetitive scanning at a conveyor or checkout lane does not introduce latency or drop-outs that can occur with cordless alternatives.

Plug-and-play USB installation

The scanner terminates in a standard USB connector that enumerates as a keyboard or virtual COM port on most operating systems. No driver package is required for basic operation; configuration changes are made by scanning parameter barcodes from the manual. The only common issue is selecting the wrong host mode, which is resolved by scanning the correct setup code.
