iOS Tracker GPS Navigation 12 Channels

The AUDIOVOX iOS Tracker is a compact GPS navigation device built for Apple users who need discreet vehicle or asset monitoring. It operates on 12 channels and includes a 32GB miniSD card for local data storage. The 2.5-inch display provides alert notifications, while Bluetooth connectivity links directly to the Find My network on an iPhone or iPad. No subscription fees are required for the tracking service.

365-Day Battery Life With CR2032 Power

Under sustained use, the tracker relies on a single CR2032 coin cell battery rated for up to 365 days of operation. A spare battery is supplied to extend the maintenance interval without charging. Location updates are transmitted every 35 minutes while the device is moving and every 1060 minutes when stationary, conserving power during long periods of inactivity. The magnetic mount keeps the unit fixed to any metal surface throughout this cycle.

Verify iOS Compatibility

Buyers must confirm that their iPhone or iPad supports the Find My network and Bluetooth alert protocol used by this tracker. The device measures 1.6 by 1.6 by .6 inches, so the intended hiding spot must accommodate those dimensions and a flat metal surface for the magnet. Android users or buyers who want live second-by-second updates should look elsewhere, as the update intervals are fixed at 35 and 1060 minutes.

Questions about this item

Does the tracker make any sound or get warm while it runs for 365 days on a CR2032 battery?

The device is silent and passively cooled; it only uses a coin-cell battery and Bluetooth alerts, so there is no fan noise or noticeable heat during year-long operation.

What iOS device and app do I already need so the tracker can send its location every 35 minutes while moving?

You need an iPhone or iPad with the Find My network enabled and Bluetooth turned on; the tracker pairs through Apple's Find My app and requires no separate subscription.

Can the 12-channel GPS receiver and Bluetooth link still work if my car already has an older built-in navigation unit?

Yes, the tracker operates independently using its own 12-channel GPS and Bluetooth connection to your iOS device, so it does not interfere with any factory navigation system.
