Five-Pack Windscreens for OM Series

The Audix WS357 pack supplies five foam windscreens built to fit the GR357 grille on OM Series ball-head microphones. They are made for vocalists, broadcasters and engineers who need consistent pop and wind protection across multiple mics. The set keeps spare units on hand for quick changes during sessions.

Sustained Session Performance

Each screen maintains its shape and acoustic transparency through long recording or broadcast periods. The open-cell foam resists compression so high-frequency detail stays intact even after hours of continuous use. Moisture from close vocal work does not degrade the material or alter the microphone’s response.

Thermal Noise and Power

Passive foam construction adds no self-noise, requires no power and introduces no electronic hiss. The lightweight design does not affect microphone balance or mounting stability. Airflow remains unrestricted, preventing heat build-up around the capsule during extended operation.

Questions about this item

Does the foam add noticeable weight or change the balance on an OM series mic during long sessions?

The WS357 is a lightweight foam sleeve that slips over the GR357 grille, adding negligible mass and no measurable balance shift for all-day use.

Which specific microphone models must I already own for these windscreens to fit?

They are made for Audix OM series ball-head microphones and seat directly onto the GR357 grille supplied with those models.

Will the WS357 fit the older OM grille I have been using for years?

Yes — the windscreens are tailored to the GR357 grille used across the OM series, so legacy units with that grille accept them without modification.
