Gold pair for phone and tablet

Two gold-coloured portable speakers arrive as a matched pair, each measuring 1.92 inches across and weighing 0.39 lb. Bluetooth 5.0 connects to a phone, PC or tablet within three seconds and holds the link up to 10 metres away. The active drivers deliver 3 watt_hours of power with a 20 KHz response bandwidth and 80 decibels signal-to-noise ratio. A built-in microphone adds hands-free calling for anyone who wants music and voice on the go.

Straps and short cables included

The box supplies two hand straps that let you hang a speaker from a bag or key-ring, plus two short micro charging cables for topping up the internal batteries. No other cables, adapters or software discs are provided, so playback starts as soon as the speakers pair with your device. Each unit can also work alone, giving a second listener their own wireless speaker without extra purchase.

Bluetooth 5.0 range and stereo pairing limits

The wireless link is rated for 10 metres in open space; walls or interference will reduce the practical distance. Two speakers can be paired for 360° stereo sound, doubling the volume, but the pairing procedure requires a specific button sequence and both units must stay within range of the source device. Charging while playing is not supported, so plan listening sessions around battery life.

Questions about this item

How long does the rechargeable battery last before it needs replacing?

The built-in rechargeable battery is not user-replaceable; the speaker is designed to be recharged via the included micro-USB cable rather than having its battery swapped out.

What is the first limitation you hit when playing music continuously at high volume?

The 3 watt-hour total power rating and 80 dB signal-to-noise ratio mean the driver will reach its maximum clean output before thermal limits become an issue.

How much heat or fan noise does the speaker produce during all-day use?

There is no cooling fan; the tiny 1.92-inch driver and low 3 watt-hour output generate only slight warmth and remain completely silent when idle or playing.
