Full-size mechanical keyboard

The AULA F2099 is a wired mechanical gaming keyboard with a 104-key layout and Brown Switches. It connects via USB and supports Windows XP through Windows 10. The tactile Brown Switches are rated for 60 million keystrokes and suit both typing and gaming.

Low power draw and adjustable height

The keyboard draws less than 300 mA at 5 V over its 1.6 m USB cable. A heightening bracket lets you change the tilt angle for wrist comfort during long sessions. The metal panel and two-colour injection-moulded keycaps are built to resist wear.

One-key mode switch and scroll wheel

A dedicated button toggles between multimedia and game modes without shortcut combinations. An alloy scroll wheel controls media playback, volume, lighting effects and brightness with one hand. The 21 RGB lighting effects are selectable directly on the board. Buyers who need wireless connectivity or a tenkeyless layout should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the AULA F2099 and what step do people often miss?

Plug the 1.6 m USB cable into a free port on the PC; the step users miss is pressing the dedicated one-key dual-mode button to lock the keyboard into game mode so the Win key stays disabled.

What maintenance will the brown mechanical switches need later?

The brown switches are rated for 60 million keystrokes; when a key starts to feel mushy or double-registers, replace that individual switch — no soldering required on this hot-swap compatible board.

What limit appears first during long gaming sessions?

The 300 mA USB power draw caps the backlight brightness; if all 21 RGB effects run at maximum intensity the keyboard will dim automatically to stay within the 5 V 300 mA budget.
