Wired USB gaming mouse

The AULA S12 connects by USB cable and uses an optical sensor with four selectable DPI steps at 800, 1200, 1600 and 2400. It has seven programmable buttons with onboard macro storage and a colourful tail-wing breathing light. The ergonomic shape suits palm or claw grip for right-handed users and is aimed at home office, entertainment and e-sports use.

USB power and cable limits

The mouse draws under 150 mA at 5 V from the USB port, so it works on standard laptop and desktop ports without extra power. The fixed cable is 1.5 M long, which sets the maximum reach from the host device. Optical tracking relies on surface texture, so glass or highly reflective desks may reduce accuracy.

Compatibility and setup checks

Verify the system runs Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 for driver support. Ensure a free USB Type-A port is available for the wired connection. The body measures 117.5 by 77 by 39.5 mm, so confirm the dimensions suit your hand size and desk space before ordering.

Questions about this item

Which DPI step should I pick for everyday use versus fast-paced shooters?

The mouse lets you cycle through 800, 1200, 1600 and 2400 DPI; lower steps suit desktop work while the highest step gives quicker cursor travel in FPS titles.

How does the 2400 DPI optical sensor behave on a typical desk surface?

At 2400 DPI the optical engine tracks smoothly on most hard pads or desks without acceleration, and the 0.7 mm click travel keeps response crisp during rapid clicks.

What does the USB interface limit in practice?

The wired USB connection draws under 150 mA at 5 V, so it runs from any standard port without extra power and the 1.5 m cable reaches rear-panel sockets easily.
