Indoor/outdoor thermometer with wireless sensor

The AUTENS thermometer displays indoor and outdoor temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit on a large LCD. A wireless transmitter sends readings from up to 165 feet away using a 433 Hz signal. The unit includes a digital clock with 12 or 24 hour format and a weather forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours.

433 Hz wireless range up to 50 metres

The single specification that decides suitability is the 433 Hz wireless link rated for 50 metres (165 feet). Obstacles such as thick walls or metal structures will reduce the effective distance, so the sensor must be positioned within a clear line of sight for reliable transmission.

Battery-powered display and remote sensor

The main display runs on two AAA batteries while the outdoor transmitter requires two AA batteries; neither type is supplied. No mains wiring is needed, so the units can be placed on a shelf or mounted on a wall in a greenhouse, garage or living space. The wireless link frees you from running cables through windows or walls.

Questions about this item

What does the 1 °C resolution mean for everyday readings?

The display updates in 1 °C steps, so small fluctuations below that threshold will not appear.

How does the 433 MHz link limit sensor placement?

The signal reaches about 50 m in open space; walls or interference can reduce the practical range.

What mounting space does the indoor unit need?

It is a compact desktop or wall‑mount unit with a 0.8‑inch high display; no special bracket is required.
