20-Piece 2-Pin 8 mm LED Connector Kit

This pack supplies twenty solderless connectors built for 8 mm RGB strips and standard 22 AWG wire. They operate on 5 V, 12 V or 24 V systems and suit hobbyists or installers who need quick, tool-free joints. The polycarbonate bodies keep the set light and easy to carry between jobs.

Sustained Load Reliability

Metal pins pierce the strip’s copper pads, creating a gas-tight contact that resists vibration and gentle pulling. Bronze-finished terminals maintain conductivity over long runs, while the transparent housing lets you verify alignment at a glance. Unqualified wire — thin strands or off-centre cores — remains the only common cause of intermittent connection.

Tool-Free Installation Steps

Slide the strip into the guide slot, confirm polarity, then press the cover down until the pads meet the pins. No crimper or soldering iron is required, so the joint is finished in seconds. If a link fails, recut the wire end and reseat it; the connector itself is reusable and not easily damaged.

Questions about this item

Does the polycarbonate body stay cool when the connector runs at 24 V all day?

The connector uses passive metal pins that pierce the strip contacts; no active cooling is needed and the PC housing remains at ambient temperature during continuous 5 V, 12 V or 24 V operation.

Must I already have 22 AWG wire and an 8 mm RGB strip for these to work?

Yes — the connectors are designed for 8 mm RGB strips and standard 22 AWG solid or multi-core wire; other gauges or strip widths will not seat correctly in the guide slots.

Will these 2 pin 8 mm connectors fit the 10 mm strips I already own?

No — the guide slots are sized for 8 mm (0.31 in) strips only; 10 mm strips are too wide and cannot make contact with the piercing pins.
