Universal 12V Interior Lighting Kit

This 175-inch acrylic LED strip system includes six pre-cut pieces totalling 593 addressable RGB ICs. It draws power from a standard 12V vehicle circuit and is managed by one main controller plus four sub-controllers that synchronize across the dashboard and four doors. The kit is designed for plug-in installation without permanent wiring modifications.

Sustained Output and Thermal Behaviour

Operating between -20°C and 60°C, the low-heat acrylic strips maintain consistent brightness during extended drives. Short-circuit protection on each controller prevents voltage spikes from damaging the LEDs when the electrical system fluctuates under load. The memory function restores the last selected mode automatically after every ignition cycle.

Upgrade From Single-Zone or Fibre-Optic Kits

The six-channel layout replaces older single-strip or fibre-optic kits that only illuminate one zone and cannot chase colours independently per door. The jump is worthwhile when you want per-door synchronization, music-reactive patterns, and app-based preset storage without running new loom throughout the cabin.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 175 in 593 LED kit produce when running all day on 12V?

The strips are described as low-heat and waterproof, operating safely from -20°c to 60°c without active cooling.

What existing vehicle wiring must be present for the main and four sub-controllers to power up?

The main controller needs the ACC power line at the centre console; each sub-controller needs a 12V ACC line inside its door such as the window motor, lock actuator or horn circuit.

Will the wireless app control still work if the car already has factory ambient lighting?

The kit uses its own wireless LED LAMP APP on iOS or Android with a 0-10M range, independent of any factory system.
