What this cable does

This AUTYUE USB C extension cable adds 10ft of reach between a USB C male port and a USB C female port. It supports USB 3.2 Gen2 data rates up to 10Gbps and carries 4K video at 60Hz with audio. The cable handles up to 100W (20V/5A) power delivery for fast charging. A nylon-braided jacket and 32 AWG pure copper core are rated for 25000+ bends.

Check your ports and devices first

Both ends must be USB C; the cable will not work with USB-A or USB Mini-B connectors. Confirm that your host and peripheral support USB-C video output or input for the 4K 60Hz function. The supplier notes it is not compatible with Thunderbolt 3 docks, hubs or cables, and it does not work with Quest Link. Charging speed still depends on your charger, device and the cable you plug into the female end.

How it fits in your setup

Use the male end to extend an existing USB C charging or data cable, freeing placement of laptops, phones, Steam Deck, USB C hubs, Mag-Safe wireless chargers or USB-C monitors. The female end accepts your existing USB C cable, so you keep your current charger and cable while gaining length. Aluminium connectors with laser-welded joints resist breakage at the stress points.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is a power adapter included?

The box contains the 10 ft USB-C male-to-female extension cable only; a power adapter is not included and must be supplied separately.

Which length should I choose for a desk setup?

The 10 ft option gives the most reach for routing behind a desk, while 3.3 ft and 6 ft versions are available if less slack is preferred.

What does the 10 Gbps rating mean when I plug it into my laptop?

It delivers USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds up to 10 Gbps for data, 100 W (20 V / 5 A) for charging, and 4K 60 Hz (3840 × 2160) video — provided the host, cable and display all support those modes.
