USB-C to RJ45 adapter delivers 2.5 Gbps wired networking with driver-free setup on Windows 11/10/8.1/8 and macOS
The AUTYUE USB-C to RJ45 adapter adds a wired 2.5 Gbps network link to laptops, tablets or single-board computers that lack an Ethernet port. It targets users who need faster-than-gigabit throughput for local file transfers, low-latency gaming or stable streaming without relying on wireless.
The adapter runs at its rated 2.5 Gbps only when connected to a USB 3.0 or newer port. On a USB 2.0 port the link drops to 10/100 Mbps, so the full speed cannot be realised on older hosts. Driver-free operation is provided for Windows 11/10/8.1/8 and macOS; Windows 7 and XP require a separate driver installation.
At 2.5 Gbps the adapter comfortably handles multi-gigabit NAS access, 4K media streaming and competitive gaming traffic. It remains backward compatible with 1000/100/10 Mbps networks, so it works on existing switches. The device does not support Nintendo Switch consoles.

The adapter negotiates automatically; plug it into a USB 3.0 port for 2.5 Gbps, or it will fall back to 1 Gbps, 100 Mbps or 10 Mbps depending on the switch.
On a USB 3.0 connection you get up to 2.5 Gbps throughput; on USB 2.0 the link is limited to 10/100 Mbps.
It is a USB 3.0 interface — also compatible with USB 2.0 — but 2.5 Gbps only works on USB 3.0; USB 2.0 caps at 10/100 Mbps.
