Professional 12K SSD Recorder

The Avenger URSA Mini Pro 12K Recorder is a professional-grade SSD recorder built for the URSA Mini Pro 12K camera. It mounts directly between the camera body and the battery for a streamlined rig. Filmmakers capture 12-bit Blackmagic RAW files to preserve full dynamic range and colour nuance. It is not suited for users who need internal recording media or a standalone recorder for other camera systems.

Thermals and power

The unit draws power through the camera's own battery mount so no separate power supply is required. Passive cooling relies on the aluminium chassis to dissipate heat during long takes. Noise is effectively zero because there are no moving parts or fans. Power draw scales with the installed SSD and recording bitrate rather than a fixed figure.

Build and connectivity

A USB-C port provides direct camera control and data offload without an extra interface. The recorder accepts fast 2.5-inch SSDs including U.2 NVMe drives rated up to 900 MB/s for extended recording times. Blackmagic MultiDock compatibility lets editors plug the same drives straight into a workstation for grading. The metal housing locks securely to the camera for rigid handling on set.
