Classroom Audio System

The AVer AmpliWave SAA5 is an instructional audio system designed for teachers and students in learning environments. It includes pendant microphones for both instructor and pupil use along with a microphone receiver dongle. The package also supplies an SAB5V2 audio receiver and amplifier box plus wall-mount speaker enclosures.

Wireless Microphone Range

The wireless pendant microphones must stay within reliable reception distance of the receiver dongle to avoid drop-outs during lessons. Obstructions such as dense walls or metal cabinets can reduce that effective range. The wall-mount speakers are fixed in position so the amplifier output is limited to the installed room layout.

Questions about this item

Should I use the pendant microphone or the student microphone for classroom presentations?

The pendant microphone is designed for the teacher to wear hands-free during instruction, while the student microphone allows learners to participate from their seats. Both connect wirelessly to the same receiver.

How does the wall-mount speaker configuration affect audio coverage in a typical classroom?

The included wall-mount speakers connect to the SAB5V2 amplifier box, distributing amplified sound evenly across the room so both teacher and student voices are heard clearly from any seat.
