The AVer Audio Selector OM-154 is a passive 3.5mm stereo switch that routes two analogue sources to one output. It requires no external power and connects with a simple button press. The metal CNC casing keeps the unit compact for desktop or office use. A supplied 3.5mm cable and manual complete the package.

Suited for dual-source setups

This switch suits users who need to alternate between two 3.5mm sources such as a computer and a phone feeding a single speaker or headphone. It supports only three-segment (TRS) plugs, so four-segment headsets with an inline microphone will not work. Buyers who need simultaneous mixing or microphone pass-through should look at a different solution.

Capacity and headroom

The analogue path accepts signals up to 2 V peak-to-peak across a 20 Hz to 20 kHz range without degradation. Cable runs of up to 8 metres on both input and output sides are supported. Only one source is active at a time, so the device cannot blend or sum two signals together.
