The AVer Die Xi converts analogue YPbPr component video and stereo audio to a single HDMI output. It accepts 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p signals and passes them through without scaling. The unit ships with the necessary HDMI and component cables included. Power is drawn from a USB 5 V source.

For legacy consoles with component output

This converter suits owners of GameCube, Wii or PlayStation 2 hardware that use male component cables and need to connect to a modern HDMI display. It does not support 240p signals, so PlayStation 1 titles running in that mode will not display. Buyers requiring an upscaler, frame-buffer processing or HDMI-to-component direction should consider other solutions.

Maximum 1080p pass-through resolution

The only output resolutions available are those already present on the component input, capped at 1080p. There is no internal scaler to alter the signal. If the source outputs 480i the HDMI output remains 480i; if it outputs 1080p the HDMI output remains 1080p.
