This AVer Ethernet Splitter 1 to 3 lets you connect up to three wired devices — such as a desktop, laptop, printer or gaming console — to a single RJ45 port. It draws power from the included USB cable and uses plug-and-play setup with no configuration required. LED indicators show which ports are active.

Shared 1000 Mbps bandwidth across all ports

The switch chip is rated for 1000 megabits per second, but that throughput is divided among the three connected devices. When only one device is active it can use the full 1000 Mbps; with multiple devices the available bandwidth splits accordingly. Actual speeds also depend on the connected hardware and cable quality.

Replaces temporary cable swapping

Use this splitter when a room has only one wall jack but you need wired connections for several devices at once.
