Bi-Directional 4K Switch Splitter

The AVer HW002 routes HDMI signals in two modes. It connects two sources to one display or one source to two displays, switching with a button press. Only one output is active at a time. No external power is required.

Passive Aluminum Build

A solid aluminum alloy case dissipates heat without fans. The unit accepts standard AWG26 cables up to 5 metres, or 6.6 ft for 4K at 60 Hz. An 18 Gbps bandwidth handles HDR and 36 bit colour depth. LED indicators show the active port.

HDCP 2.2 Handshake Fix

Replaces manual cable swapping for consoles, streamers and Blu-ray players. The upgraded IC chipset maintains a stable link through HDCP 2.2 handshakes that often break cheaper switches. Not suited for users who need simultaneous dual-screen output or runs longer than the stated cable limits.

Questions about this item

Does the 18 Gbps bandwidth limit 4K@60Hz HDR signal quality over long cables?

The switch transmits 18 Gbps bandwidth for 4K@60Hz HDR; input and output AWG26 HDMI cable length reaches up to 5 m, while 6.6 ft (2 m) is recommended for 4K@60Hz video.

How does the aluminum alloy case handle heat during all-day operation?

The aluminum alloy housing efficiently dissipates heat to ensure durability and safe usage during continuous operation.

Which devices must I already own to use this bi-directional HDMI switch?

You need HDMI source devices such as a game console, Blu-ray player, streaming stick or PC, plus one or two HDMI displays like a TV, monitor or projector, and your own HDMI cables.
