AVer MW13A 12x54 Monocular Kit

The AVer MW13A is a 12x54 monocular telescope built for adults who want high-powered viewing in a compact form. It ships as a complete kit with a sturdy tripod, a smartphone adapter and a large carrying bag that holds every accessory. The nitrogen-filled, IPX7 waterproof body resists fog, dust and shock for reliable outdoor use.

Ideal for Bird Watching and Travel.

This monocular suits bird watchers, hikers and sports spectators who need portable magnification with phone-capture capability. The manual focus and 300-foot field of view work well for daytime tracking. Buyers who need larger aperture for dim conditions or automated tracking should look at different optical instruments.

12x Magnification with 54 mm Objective Lens

The 12x zoom combined with a 54 mm objective lens determines reach and brightness for distant subjects. A 5 mm exit pupil supports decent low-light performance, while the BAK4 prism and fully multi-coated lenses maximise light transmission. This specification pair is the primary factor in deciding if the unit matches your viewing distance needs.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the MW13A monocular to the tripod and align the phone adapter?

Mount the monocular on the tripod using the tripod mount thread, then secure the smartphone adapter over the eyepiece and centre the camera lens on the exit pupil for a stable, hands-free view.

Which parts of the MW13A will need cleaning or replacement over time?

The BAK4 prism lenses with fully multi-coated surfaces and the rubber armour grip are the only items that may need occasional cleaning or eventual replacement if scratched or worn.

What limits the MW13A during long viewing sessions?

The 12x magnification and 54 mm objective produce a 5 mm exit pupil, so image brightness drops noticeably in low light, and the 300 ft field of view narrows the scene at distance.
