Complete 12-piece scratch art tool set

This Avery 5182REMG8220 set delivers twelve specialised instruments for fine art and craft painting. The package includes three black scratch pens, two white scrapers, two red scrapers, two bamboo handles, two black cleaning brushes and a storage bag. Designed for users aged 14 and above, the kit suits both beginners and experienced artists working on detailed scratch board projects.

Lightweight manual tooling

Weighing only 82 grams, the bamboo, PP and polyester construction adds negligible mass to a creative workspace. Because every component is hand-operated, there is no motor noise, no heat build-up and no electrical draw during normal use. The smooth surfaces and comfortable grips allow extended sessions without fatigue, while the included bag keeps all pieces together for portable studio work.

Organised storage and ready-to-use variety

The supplied bag transforms the loose components into a grab-and-go kit that fits in a pocket or small satchel. Having multiple scrapers and pens in black, white and red means artists can switch line weights and effects without pausing to clean a single tip. Two dedicated cleaning brushes maintain point clarity between colour layers, and the bamboo handles provide an alternative grip style for intricate pattern work.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the 12-piece scratch art tool set and what step do people often miss?

Open the storage bag, select a black scratch pen or bamboo handle, and begin drawing on scratch paper; the step many miss is testing the tool pressure on a scrap piece first to avoid tearing the coating.

Which parts of the 12-piece set will wear out and need replacement over time?

The three black scratch pens and four scrapers (two white, two red) will dull with use, while the two cleaning brushes may lose bristles; the bamboo handles and storage bag typically last much longer.

What limits how long I can work continuously with the 16.8 cm scratch pens before fatigue or quality drops?

The 82 g total weight keeps the pens light, but sustained fine-line work is limited by hand fatigue from the 16.8 cm pen length and the need to pause for brush cleaning every few minutes.
