61 Pastel Colors Plus Blender

The Avery Caliart set provides 60 pastel alcohol-based colors and one colorless blender in a portable black case. Dual chisel and fine tips cover broad strokes and detailed lines for illustration, sketching and coloring. Alcohol ink dries fast and resists smudging on paper or canvas.

Chisel and Fine Tips Need Light Pressure

Chisel nibs span roughly 1 to 7 mm and fine points measure about 0.7 mm, so a light touch prevents feathering on thin paper. Caps are color-coded for quick identification and the round barrel reduces fatigue during long sessions. Store markers horizontally to keep both tips saturated.

Check Paper Weight and Ventilation

Alcohol-based ink bleeds through lightweight sheets, so test on a scrap of your chosen surface before starting a project. The ink is permanent once dry and requires good airflow while working. The case holds all 61 pens securely for transport or studio storage.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the markers are working properly after opening the case?

Test both the chisel tip (approx. 1-7mm) and fine tip (approx. 0.7mm) on paper; alcohol-based ink should flow smoothly, dry fast, and blend without streaks, while the colorless blender softens edges.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The set includes 60 pastel markers plus one colorless blender (61 total) with color-coded caps in a black carrying case; no extra items are required for immediate use.

Which color-count version should I choose from the Caliart range?

This 61-color pastel set adds a blender to 60 hues; other Caliart options listed are 40-color, 36 glitter, 34 brush, and 72 brush markers.
