Avery CT0038 Airtight Paint Palette

The Avery CT0038 is a plastic paint palette with 18 wells and three mixing areas designed for acrylic, gouache and watercolor work. It suits amateur painters, artists and teachers who need a portable, organised setup for studio or classroom use.

Airtight Construction and Daily Use

A rubber-ringed lid with a locking mechanism seals the palette to keep paints from drying between sessions. The removable tray and an included sponge help manage moisture, lighten colours and absorb excess water from brushes during painting.

Upgrade from Open Trays

This palette replaces open mixing trays that let paint dry out and waste material. The jump is worth it when you want longer paint life, less clean-up and a single case that holds wells, mixing space and a sponge together.

Questions about this item

How does the airtight lid with rubber ring and lock prevent paint from drying out?

The lid seals the 18 wells and three mixing areas with a rubber ring and lock mechanism, keeping acrylic, gouache and watercolor paints workable between sessions.

What are the folded dimensions of the CT0038 palette for storage?

The palette measures 10 5/8 inches long by 5 inches wide when closed, with a 2 inch profile that fits in a standard art bag.

How do you install the included sponge so it keeps paints fresh without over-wetting?

Place the sponge in its designated compartment, dampen it lightly, then close the lid; the sealed chamber maintains humidity without flooding the wells.
