12-piece round brush set

The Avery hua bi 001 set contains twelve round-tipped brushes in sizes one through twelve. Nylon bristles are held by aluminium ferrules designed to resist shedding. Lacquered wooden handles are waterproof and crack-resistant for a secure grip. The brushes arrive in a bag and weigh 0.04 kilograms.

Beginners and multi-medium artists

The range of sizes suits detailed outlining, broad washes and colour filling across watercolour, acrylic, gouache, oil and tempera. Short handles favour close work on paper or canvas. Painters who prefer long handles for standing at an easel will find these less comfortable. Artists needing natural-hair brushes for specific techniques should look elsewhere.

Nylon bristles with aluminium ferrules

Synthetic nylon tips provide high absorption, flexibility and easy cleaning with warm water. Ferrules are crimped to keep bristles secure during heavy use. This construction determines how the brush holds pigment and maintains its point over time.
