Avid KDD-728B RGB Headset Stand

The Avid KDD-728B is a black rubber stand that holds one headset and up to two controllers simultaneously. It connects via a 59in USB cable for plug-and-play lighting power on Windows systems from Win 2000 through Win 10. The 360° rotatable headphone arm includes a cable organiser to keep wires off the desk surface.

Gamers wanting a lit desktop organiser

This stand suits players who want RGB illumination and a combined holder for headset plus controllers in a compact footprint. Buyers needing storage for more than two controllers or a headset hanger without USB-powered lighting should consider alternative solutions.

9 RGB modes with memory function under continuous

The unit cycles through seven colour flashing, breathing and six single-colour modes, retaining the last selection after power off. A two-second long press disables the LEDs entirely. The weighted base with four rubber pads resists tipping while the rubber-coated hooks protect devices from scratches during extended sessions.

Questions about this item

Does the Avid KDD-728B stand need a free USB port on my computer to power the 9 RGB modes?

Yes, the stand draws power through its 59in USB cable and works plug-and-play with Windows 2000, XP, 7, 8, 10 and later.

Will my existing headset and controllers fit the rotatable hook and detachable controller hook?

The headphone holder rotates 360° and accepts all brand headset sizes; the detachable hook holds two controllers or a second headset.

How can I confirm the RGB lighting is working correctly after I assemble the three parts?

Press the controller once to cycle through the 9 light modes; a long 2-second press turns the LEDs off and saves the last colour.
