The Avid MU059 is a microphone boom arm set finished in black and supplied as a complete kit. It includes a zinc alloy desk clamp, a 3/8" to 5/8" metal screw adapter, a double-screen pop filter, a shock mount with high-elasticity rope and five cable ties. The arm extends to 70 centimetres and clamps to desks up to 2 inches thick. It is designed for podcasters, streamers and home-studio users who need an all-in-one mounting solution.

Upgrade from Basic Stands

This kit replaces a simple desk stand or a separate arm, clamp and filter purchased individually. The integrated heavy-duty spring prevents accidental drops and keeps the microphone stable during adjustment. The dual-layer pop filter disperses air pressure more effectively than a single screen. Suits Standard-Size Mics

The shock mount accepts microphones with body diameters of 35 to 40 millimetres and 40 to 52 millimetres, covering models such as the Blue Snowball, Yeti Nano, Audio-Technica AT2020 and Fifine K669B. It does not fit the Blue Yeti because the mount's 52-millimetre hole is too small for that microphone's body. Buyers who own a Blue Yeti or need a longer reach than 70 centimetres should look at alternative mounting options.
