Perfect fit for Rode PodMic users

This furry windscreen cover is customised for the Rode PodMic podcasting microphone. It blocks plosives, breath and wind noise so spoken-word recordings stay clean. Podcasters, streamers and gamers who already own the microphone will find it a direct fit.

Reduces pop and protects the capsule

The grey furry layer muffles higher-frequency pop sounds while shielding the microphone from dust, moisture and flying spittle. Audio clarity improves for gaming, podcasting and streaming sessions without adding electronic processing. The cover weighs 10 g and measures 14.3 in high by 3.3 in wide by 3.3 in deep.

Check microphone model before ordering

This accessory fits only the Rode PodMic; it will not mount on other dynamic or condenser microphones. The Rode PodMic itself is not included in the package. Verify you own the correct microphone so the cover seats properly and performs as described.

Questions about this item

Will the grey furry cover need washing or replacing after extended podcasting sessions?

The 10 g windscreen can be hand-washed and air-dried when it collects moisture or dust, and the synthetic fur shows no wear after months of daily use.

What is the first limitation you hit when recording for hours with the cover on?

The dense fur slightly attenuates very high frequencies, so extremely long sessions may sound a touch darker than without it.

Does the cover trap heat or add noticeable weight during all-day streaming?

At only 10 g and 14.3 in tall it adds negligible mass and the open-pile fur lets air circulate, so the microphone stays at room temperature.
