Height Mic Boom Stand

The Avid SR610121B is a foldable tripod microphone stand designed for low-profile placement. Height adjusts from 9.65 to 16.93 inches using a coated steel T-handle. A telescoping boom arm extends up to 9.06 inches for precise microphone positioning. Standard 5/8-inch metal threads accept common mic clips.

Boom Reach Up To 9.06 Inches

The telescoping boom arm extends to 9.06 inches from the vertical shaft. This reach determines whether the microphone can be positioned over a sound source while the base remains outside the performance area. The arm angle is adjustable and a molded plastic counterweight supports stable horizontal placement.

Suits Desktop And Seated Recording

This stand suits podcasters, streamers and seated instrumentalists who need a compact base with a short vertical range. It does not suit standing vocalists or overhead drum miking where a taller centre column is required. Buyers needing a floor-standing boom with greater height should look at full-size models.
