Industrial-temperature SFP+ transceiver delivers 10 Gbps over copper cabling
The Axiom SFP+ module operates at 10 Gbps over copper cabling and is rated for industrial temperature ranges. It targets network engineers deploying switches or routers in environments where standard commercial transceivers would exceed their thermal limits.
The transceiver handles 10 Gbps links up to the distance allowed by the 10GBASE-T standard on Cat6a or better cabling. It runs out of reach when cable length or quality falls outside that specification, and it is not suited for fibre deployments or installations requiring commercial-temperature optics only.

The module negotiates 10 Gbps over twisted-pair copper and will fall back to 1 GbE on compatible ports, so your current Cat6a cabling and gigabit switches remain usable.
Check the switch or router management interface for the module's reported temperature reading; it should stay within the industrial spec limits during normal operation.
