A 3 metre active optical cable with SFP28 connectors for 25 GbE links to Cisco equipment

  • 25 Gbps bandwidth supported by SFP28 active optical design
  • Cisco compatible for direct integration with existing network equipment
  • 3 metre reach enables flexible rack-to-rack or switch-to-server links
  • Lightweight fibre construction reduces cable bulk and simplifies cable management

25GBASE-AOC SFP28 cable overview

This active optical cable provides a 25 gigabit SFP28 link in a three metre length. It is built for Cisco compatible ports and ships in new condition. The assembly targets network technicians who need a ready-made fibre connection for handheld or portable test equipment.

Integration and build fit

The cable plugs directly into SFP28 cages without extra transceivers or patch cords. Its active optical design removes the bulk and bend limits of copper twinax at the same reach. Buyers who require longer runs or different vendor coding will need a separate solution.
