Single-Port 10GBase-LR SFP+ Card

The Axiom E10G41BFLR-AX is a PCI Express 2.0 x8 network interface card with one SFP+ cage that accepts an optical transceiver. It provides a 10 Gb/s link over single-mode fibre for server deployments. The plug-in card measures 6.5 by 2.7 inches and weighs 4.32 oz.

For Long-Reach Fibre Links

This card suits administrators who need a single 10 Gb/s fibre connection in a server chassis with an available x8 slot. It is not for deployments that require multiple ports or copper media. It is not for systems that lack a PCI Express 2.0 x8 expansion slot.

Optical 10GBase-LR Media Support

The decisive specification is the 10GBase-LR optical interface, which determines the fibre type, wavelength and reach the link can achieve. The included transceiver matches that standard so the card is ready for single-mode fibre runs.
