Verify that a single UTP cable can be routed from the reader location to your IP network switch or PoE source. The reader includes a nearly 3-metre Ethernet pigtail intended to be pulled through the door frame and into the ceiling. Confirm that the mounting surface suits the slim profile and that wall-mount boxes are available if surface mounting is preferred. Ensure your access control software supports the reader's RFID credential formats.
