Product identity

The Axxess AXBT is a Bluetooth vehicle customization interface designed for select vehicles from 2012 onward. It works alongside the required vehicle-specific Axxess interface to retain and adjust the factory personalization menu. Control is provided through a smartphone application compatible with Android and Apple devices. This product suits owners who want to keep factory settings accessible after installing an aftermarket navigation system.

Interface limits

The interface depends entirely on the matching vehicle-specific Axxess module, so it cannot function as a standalone adapter. Bluetooth connectivity is limited to the companion app for menu adjustments and does not extend to audio streaming or hands-free calling. Factory personalization features that are not exposed through the app remain inaccessible. Vehicles outside the supported range or those without a compatible Axxess interface cannot use this product.

Upgrade context

This unit replaces the need for a dealer scan tool or proprietary hardware when modifying factory personalization settings after a radio swap. The jump is worthwhile when an aftermarket navigation system has been installed and the owner wants to keep configuring vehicle settings from a phone. It does not upgrade audio quality, add new vehicle functions, or replace the primary integration harness required for the installation.
