Protective Counter Shield

The Azar Displays 176192-100 is a clear acrylic tri-fold barrier designed for countertops and reception areas. It creates a physical partition between staff and visitors to reduce the spread of airborne germs. The transparent panels maintain visibility while providing a hygienic screen for transactions and interactions.

Adjustable Pass-Through Design

This shield suits schools, offices, retail stores, pharmacies and healthcare reception desks where face-to-face contact occurs. The middle panel slides vertically within plastic channels to create a pass-through opening up to 6 inches high. Buyers needing a fully sealed enclosure without a transaction window or a permanently fixed wall-mounted barrier should consider alternative configurations.

Tool-Free Assembly Stability

The unit ships flat and assembles in seconds by sliding the centre panel into the included channels; no tools or hardware are required. Once positioned, the freestanding tri-fold footprint resists tipping during daily use. For permanent fixation on high-traffic counters, adhesive T-sign holders (items 700043-CLR or 700033-CLR) are available separately.

Questions about this item

Does the 176192-100 acrylic shield sit on the counter by itself or must I buy a separate base?

It sits flat on the counter without any extra base; the middle panel slides into the included plastic channels to set the pass-through height.

Will the optional 700043-CLR or 700033-CLR T-sign holders attach to the shield without drilling?

Yes, both holders use adhesive tape so they stick to the counter or tabletop and hold the shield in place without tools.

How can I confirm the shield is assembled correctly and the pass-through is usable?

After sliding the middle panel into the channels, check that it stays at the chosen height and leaves an opening at the bottom for transactions.
