Counter shield for transaction points

This transparent acrylic shield measures 30 by 40 inches and is designed to sit on counters at supermarkets, pharmacies, hospitals, banks, airports and reception desks. It creates a physical barrier against sneezes, coughs and germs between employees and customers. The panel can be oriented horizontally or vertically to suit the workspace. It ships flat and requires no tools for assembly.

Passive protection with adjustable airflow

The shield uses triangle support stands that are 10 3/4 inches deep to hold the acrylic snug and secure without fasteners. Because it has no moving parts or powered components, it produces no noise and draws no power. The design allows adjustment to six heights in one-inch increments, providing up to six inches of pass-through space at the bottom for transactions or a flush fit against the counter.

Stable barrier for continuous daily use

Under sustained use the acrylic panel and triangle stands remain rigid and do not shift, maintaining the chosen height setting throughout the day. The rounded corners reduce the risk of snagging or damage during high-traffic periods. The shield continues to block respiratory droplets effectively without degradation, supporting ongoing protection for staff and visitors in fixed positions.

Questions about this item

How do I set the shield to the height I need and what is the step people miss?

Snap the acrylic panel into the triangle support stands at one of the six 1-inch increments; the step often missed is confirming the panel is fully seated in both stands before use.

What part of this shield will need replacement first?

The acrylic panel itself is the wear item — it can scratch or cloud over time, while the triangle support stands are solid plastic with no moving parts.

What limits how long the shield can stay in one position under daily use?

The acrylic panel can bow slightly if leaned on repeatedly, so the practical limit is the panel’s rigidity rather than the six height settings or the stands.
