Azden SGM-990+I Shotgun Microphone

The Azden SGM-990+I is a directional microphone designed for smartphones, tablets, DSLRs and video cameras. It features a two-position switch to select between supercardioid and omnidirectional pickup patterns. The unit captures audio across a 150-18KHz frequency response range for versatile recording scenarios.

Supercardioid and Omni Switching

The supercardioid setting narrows the pickup angle to reject side and rear noise during sustained dialogue recording. The omnidirectional setting captures ambient sound evenly when the source moves or surrounds the microphone. Switching patterns adapts the microphone to changing acoustic conditions without swapping hardware.
