Folding Velvet Storage Bench

The B FSOBEIIALEO ottoman bench folds flat in seconds and opens to a 31.5 by 17.72 by 15.75 inch rectangular seat. It is built from FSC-certified MDF with a velvet cover and sponge padding. Assembly is required before first use.

562 Pound Weight Limit

The supplier specifies a maximum static load of 562 pounds and warns against overloading or instability to prevent tipping. The frame uses engineered wood rated for 550 pounds in manufacturer testing. Exceeding the stated capacity voids the safety margin.

Warm Red Velvet Upholstery

The bench is finished in a warm red velvet fabric over a black base, sized 80 by 40 by 45 centimetres. It suits bedrooms, living rooms or hallways for seating and hidden storage. Buyers needing a non-folding rigid ottoman or a different colour should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Which size should I choose for this velvet storage bench?

The large version measures 80 cm long, 40 cm wide and 45 cm high, giving you the full 31.5 by 17.72 by 15.75 inch footprint shown in the listing.

What does the 550 lb static load capacity mean when I actually sit on it?

It means the MDF frame is tested to hold up to 250 kg of evenly distributed weight without collapsing, so two average adults can sit or rest feet safely.

How does the folding mechanism affect daily use and storage?

The bench unfolds in seconds — just open the frame, drop in the base panel and snap on the lid — then folds flat again for compact storage when not needed.
