39mm UV Haze filter for analog and digital cameras
The B+W Master 010M is a 39mm UV Haze filter built for both analog and digital cameras. It blocks the ultraviolet component of daylight that causes image blurring and a blueish colour cast. The filter is colour-neutral and highly transparent, preserving the natural look of every shot.
Multi-coated nano layer limits reflections
The MRC nano-coating on both surfaces reduces reflections and glare to a minimum, which increases image contrast. This multi-coated layer also repels water and oil, making the glass easier to clean in the field. The coating is designed to maintain optical information as it reaches the sensor or film.
Standard 39mm mount decides lens fit
The filter uses a standard 39mm thread mount, so it only fits lenses with that exact filter diameter. Photographers whose lenses have a different thread size cannot use this filter without a step-up or step-down ring. Active shooters who need permanent front-element protection should verify the 39mm specification before purchase.

Questions about this item
Should I buy the 39mm version or look for a different diameter?
Choose the 39mm filter only if your lens has a 39mm front thread; the filter size must match the lens thread exactly.
What does the UV Haze 010M designation mean for my photos?
It blocks the UV component of daylight that causes blur and a blue cast, giving sharper, more neutral images without affecting exposure.
How does the MRC nano coating affect light transmission?
The multi-coated nano layer cuts reflections and glare to a minimum, boosting contrast while keeping the filter colour-neutral for digital and analog use.
