  • Deeper blue skies and richer foliage colours through high-transmission polarisation
  • Eliminate glare from water, glass and glossy paint by rotating the filter
  • Consistent exposure metering and autofocus on modern cameras with circular polariser design
  • Ultra-thin brass frame prevents vignetting on wide-angle lenses
  • MRC Nano coating resists water, oil and scratches for easier cleaning

B+W T-Pro MRC Nano Circular Polarizer 58mm

The B+W T-Pro MRC Nano is a 58mm circular polarizing filter built for photographers who want to deepen blue skies, enrich foliage colours and cut glare from water or glass. Its Multi-Resistant Nano coating improves light transmission and makes the front surface easier to clean. The filter threads onto any lens with a 58mm front thread and rotates smoothly to dial in the exact polarisation angle needed for each composition.

Ideal for landscape and outdoor shooters

This filter suits photographers using lenses with a 58mm thread who need to suppress reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as lakes, windows or wet leaves. It works with cameras that rely on beam-splitter metering or autofocus systems. Photographers whose lenses have a different thread diameter or who require a linear polariser for specialised technical work should look for an alternative model.

58mm thread size confirms lens fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 58mm filter thread. Only lenses marked with a 58mm diameter will accept this filter directly; any other thread size requires a separate step-up or step-down adapter ring.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the filter is polarising correctly once mounted?

Rotate the filter ring while looking through the viewfinder or rear screen; the sky darkens and reflections on water or glass vanish at the optimal angle.

What accessories are included with the 58mm T-Pro MRC Nano filter?

The filter ships in its protective case; no lens caps, cleaning cloth or adapter rings are supplied.

Which version of the B+W T-Pro circular polariser should I choose for my 58mm thread?

Select the 58mm model (item 66-1098342) — it matches the filter thread printed on your lens barrel.
