Work Boot For Industrial Safety

The Baffin 7157-0238-001 Workhorse is an 8-inch composite toe work boot built for men who need certified protection on the job. It meets ASTM compression and impact standards rated at 75. The boot includes a puncture resistant insole and is completely non metallic. Electrical hazard rating and oil resisting sole add further workplace safety.

Suits Hazardous Environments Not Insulated Needs

This boot fits workers who require electrical hazard protection and a chemical resisting sole. The static dissipative rating is absent so buyers who need that feature should look at something else. The flat heel design supports stable footing on level surfaces. It is not suited for roles demanding a metatarsal guard.

Composite Toe And ASTM 75 Rating

The composite toe cap delivers the impact and compression protection required by the ASTM 75 standards. This non metallic construction avoids conductivity while meeting the safety threshold. The puncture resistant insole adds a second layer of defence. That combination decides whether this boot matches the site requirements.

Questions about this item

Will the 8-inch height and EE width of the 7157-0238-001 work with my existing orthotic inserts?

The boot has an 8-inch shaft and EE width fitting; the puncture-resistant insole is removable, so orthotics can be inserted if the volume allows.

How can I confirm the composite toe and electrical hazard rating are functioning after first wear?

Check the ASTM I/75 and C/75 labels inside the tongue and verify the EH mark on the sole; the non-metallic composite toe will not trigger metal detectors.

Does the 7157-0238-001 box include socks or waterproofing spray, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains the pair of insulated composite-toe boots only; socks, waterproofing treatments and replacement insoles are sold separately.
