Linen-cotton drawstring bag set

This two-bag set is made from a 50/50 organic linen and cotton blend for breathable, plastic-free food storage. The natural weave allows air to circulate around produce, keeping onions and potatoes fresh for weeks. Each bag measures 30 x 40 cm and closes with a drawstring for easy access. They are machine washable at 30°C and arrive in plastic-free packaging.

Capacity for bulk produce storage

Each bag holds roughly 30 to 40 onions or 20 to 30 potatoes, giving ample room for weekly market hauls. The 40 cm height accommodates long vegetables such as leeks or baguettes alongside root crops. Two bags let you separate alliums from tubers to prevent premature sprouting. They are not suited for liquids or finely chopped ingredients that could escape the weave.

Washable, compostable and low-impact

The linen-cotton fabric tolerates repeated machine washing at 30°C followed by air drying without losing structure. At end of life the bags biodegrade completely in a home compost bin, leaving no microplastics. No synthetic dyes or BPA are used, making them safe for direct food contact. Their plastic-free construction eliminates the waste stream of single-use produce bags.
