Bailink 16FT USB 3.2 Link Cable

This 16-foot USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C cable connects a Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest Pro or Pico 4 headset to a gaming PC for PC VR and Steam VR titles. It carries both high-speed data and 5 V power so the headset charges while you play. The nylon-braided jacket and aluminium alloy ends resist stretching, abrasion and kinking during active sessions.

Check PC port and headset port before ordering

Your computer must provide a USB Type-A port that runs at USB 3.0 or 3.2 Gen 1 speeds to deliver the rated 5 Gbps throughput. The headset side uses a Type-C connector; verify your specific model uses this interface. Ensure the 16-foot length suits your play-space layout and that your PC can supply 5 V charging current over the same port.

Sustained tethered VR performance

The cable maintains a steady 5 Gbps data stream during extended gameplay, avoiding the latency spikes that shorter bursts can hide. Continuous 5 V power delivery keeps the headset battery stable over long sessions without voltage droop. The braided construction and strain-relieved ends prevent signal degradation from repeated bending and movement during room-scale use.

Questions about this item

Does the 16 ft cable come with everything needed to connect a Quest 2 or Quest 3 to a PC, or do I need a separate adapter?

The cable has a USB-A plug for the PC and a USB-C plug for the headset, so no extra adapter is required for standard USB-A ports.

Should I pick this 16 ft USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable over a shorter or longer version for room-scale VR?

At 16 ft it gives ample room-scale freedom while keeping the 5 Gbps signal reliable; shorter cables limit movement and longer ones risk speed loss.

Will the 5 Gbps rating actually prevent lag and keep my Quest 3 charged during long Steam VR sessions?

Yes, the 5 Gbps bandwidth handles high-bitrate PC VR streaming without compression artefacts, and the 5 V power line maintains headset charge while you play.
