20-pack melamine sponge kit for household cleaning

This kit contains twenty melamine foam sponges sized 3.93 by 2.36 by 0.79 inches each. They require only water to lift stains from kitchen, bathroom, wall, floor, bathtub, shower, sink, car interior and footwear surfaces. The pack suits households that want a chemical-free option for routine wipe-downs across multiple rooms.

High-density foam and cut-to-size flexibility

Each sponge uses a denser melamine structure that resists crumbling during unidirectional wiping, so a single piece lasts longer than standard erasers. After use the sponge releases trapped dirt when rinsed in water, and it can be trimmed to fit tight corners or small fixtures without wasting material.

Melamine abrasion limits use on delicate finishes

The foam works by micro-abrasion, so it will dull glossy paint, polished metal, clear-coat automotive panels and screen surfaces. The maker advises against scrubbing hard or using the sponge on skin. Buyers who need a non-abrasive cleaner for high-gloss or sensitive surfaces should choose a different product.

Questions about this item

How often will the 20 melamine sponges need replacing with daily use?

Each 3.93x2.36x0.79in sponge wears down gradually; the 20-pack provides multiple replacements so you can discard individual pieces once they become too small or crumble.

What stops the sponges from cleaning effectively during a long session?

The melamine foam erodes with friction, so heavy scrubbing on rough surfaces will shrink the 10x6x2cm blocks faster than light wiping on smooth tiles.

Do the sponges get hot or smell after hours of continuous scrubbing?

No chemicals or abrasives are in the foam, so the sponges stay cool and odourless; only water is used and the material does not generate heat.
