What the product is and who it fits

The BAKON over-the-door hook is a foldable metal hanger with ten ridges for hanging clothes, bags and towels. It mounts without tools on standard doors up to 1.8 inches thick and folds flat when not needed, making it suited to bedrooms, bathrooms, dormitories and apartments where space is limited.

Who should choose it and who should not

Renters and homeowners who want drill-free storage behind a door will find the magnetic top hooks secure on doors thinner than 1.8 inches with a minimal frame gap. Households needing more than ten hanging points, or doors thicker than 1.8 inches, should look for a different solution.

The specification that decides fit

The hanger extends 10.5 inches when open and requires a door thickness no greater than 1.77 inches so the door can still close properly. If your door exceeds that thickness or the gap between door and frame is wider than a nickel, this model will not work.
