Compact night light for bedrooms and hallways

The Baldwin mushroom night light plugs directly into a US outlet and draws only 0.5 watts. A built-in light sensor switches the three LEDs on at dusk and off at dawn without any manual operation. Three silicone mushrooms glow in blue yellow and white while five plastic leaves and a flower can be arranged on the ceramic-look base. The unit measures 5 by 2.1 by 1.8 inches and weighs little enough for any standard socket.

Fits any indoor socket with no wiring required

The E27 base and US plug work on 110 to 220 volt AC at 60 hertz so no transformer or hub is needed. Because the sensor handles on-off timing the light frees a wall switch for other fixtures and keeps hallways bathrooms and stairways lit for safe navigation. Annual consumption is about 1 kilowatt hour when running 12 hours daily making it practical for continuous use in nurseries or kids rooms.

Replaces plug-in bulbs that stay on all day

Unlike a constant night bulb this lamp only activates when ambient light drops so it saves electricity and reduces glare. The jump is worth it for anyone who wants automatic dusk-to-dawn operation colour-changing mushrooms and a decorative base without installing hard-wired fixtures. It is not suited for buyers who need adjustable brightness motion activation or a rechargeable battery option.
